Discover the Power of Solar Energy

What can solar do for me?
Many home and property owners have decided to have solar PV installed to reduce their energy bills. Solar power generated on your property directly reduces your energy needs from the national Grid and even puts excess energy back into the Grid, further reducing your energy bill.
How does it work?
Solar PV (short for Solar Photo-Voltaic) panels are an ideal way to collect energy from light (does not have to be direct sunlight) and convert it to electricity. An array of solar panels provides enough energy to run a household. With the assistance of a battery to store excess energy and sales of excess to the Grid, energy bills can be dramatically reduced.

Where can I install solar PV panels?
Most property owners opt to have solar panels installed on the roof of a property. Others choose to place the panels on land suitable for solar panel arrays.
There can also be a combination of the two, with roof-based generally being the popular choice.
Land-based arrays are often large scale industrial-type installations, but placing solar PV on the ground for domestic use can often make sense too.
How much can I save?
Your energy savings will depend on how many solar panels you have installed. The more panels you have, the more energy you will create and thus the less power you will have to buy from your electricity supplier.
In fact, when you generate more than you need, you can sell that back to your supplier and create credit which you can cash in if you make enough, or use it to offset future bills - in the winter for example when you will generate less electricity.

How long will installation take?
Installation can take as little as two weeks from start to finish, depending on the type of roof and how easy the wiring is to install inside the house.
Generally by the time the roof panels have been installed, the internal wiring, inverter and battery will be in place and ready for hook-up to the electric panel. We perform pre-installation checks to ensure that the internal wiring can be put in place without issue.
